Why Backpackers Go eSIM
Plans from $1
Cheaper than a hostel beer. Get basic data for maps and messaging from around $1-$2 per country. No minimum spend, no bundles you don't need.
Cross Borders Easily
Leaving Thailand for Cambodia tomorrow? Buy a new eSIM in 30 seconds from your bunk bed. No finding a shop, no language barriers, no passport copies.
Never Get Lost
Offline maps only get you so far. With mobile data, you've got real-time transit, live translation, and the ability to book that last-minute bus.
Stay Safe
Emergency calls, sharing your live location with family, finding the nearest embassy — having data isn't a luxury when you're travelling solo in unfamiliar places.

Backpacker FAQs
What's the cheapest plan available?
Plans start from around $1 for 100MB or $1-$2 for 500MB daily plans. Use our "Find My Plan" tool, select "Budget-friendly" and we'll show you the cheapest options for your destination.
Can I have eSIMs for multiple countries at once?
Yes! Your phone can store up to 8-10 eSIM profiles. Buy one for Thailand, one for Vietnam, one for Cambodia — and switch between them as you cross borders.
Is 500MB enough for a day?
For messaging (WhatsApp, Telegram), maps, and light browsing — yes, 500MB is plenty. Avoid streaming video on mobile data and you'll be fine. Save the Netflix for hostel WiFi.
What happens if I run out of data mid-day?
Your data simply stops — no overage charges. You can top up instantly from your account, or wait until you find WiFi. No nasty surprises on your bill.
