Quick eSIM check (under 30 seconds)

Two universal ways to confirm — no Settings dive needed.

Smartphones & tablets

  1. Open the keypad and dial *#06#.
  2. If an EID number appears alongside the IMEI, your device supports eSIM.

Windows 10 / 11

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  2. Open Network & Internet.
  3. If you see a Cellular option, your PC supports eSIM.

Is my device carrier-unlocked?

Even an eSIM-ready device won't activate if it's locked to a carrier. Phones bought outright are usually unlocked; phones bought on contract often aren't.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Open SettingsGeneralAbout.
  2. Scroll to Carrier Lock.
  3. "No SIM restrictions" means you're unlocked.

Android

  1. Open SettingsNetwork & InternetMobile network.
  2. Turn off Automatic network selection.
  3. If multiple carriers appear, your device is unlocked.

Locked? Contact your current carrier to request an unlock — usually free once your contract is paid off.
