Does the TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra support eSIM?
The TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra supports eSIM, as do the TCL 50 NXTPAPER 5G and 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G. Not every TCL phone has eSIM, so check yours before buying a plan.
TCL says eSIM availability varies by model, so check Settings > Network & internet > SIMs for an eSIM option before buying a plan.

*#06#. - If an EID number appears alongside the IMEI, your TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra is eSIM-ready.
- Or open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM.
How to set up a travel eSIM on the TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra
- Stay on WiFi. Go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code from your idealesim order email and finish setup.
- Set the travel eSIM as your mobile data SIM.
- Enable Roaming for that eSIM.
Is your TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra carrier-unlocked?
An eSIM-ready TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra still won't activate a travel eSIM if it's locked to a network. Phones bought outright are usually unlocked; contract phones often aren't. The 20-second check:
- Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs (or Mobile network).
- Turn off Automatic network selection.
- If several carriers appear in the list, your TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra is unlocked.
Locked? Your carrier can usually unlock it for free once any contract is paid off.
